I did attend. The best part of this experience was the time I got to spend with my roommate and Brent walking to and fro. The very beginning and the very end of the presentation- where he talked about his personal reasons for joining and the why philosophy matters- so we think well, do well, and live well… Particularly the bit about thoughtfulness was interesting to me. Unfortunately… I really struggled not to fall asleep in the middle. I was so so tired after soccer *wink, wink* But really, today was a hard day for me with two tests and 3 quizzes. This has sparked my interest to change back from shakespeare II to foundations of Western thought for first period tuesday next semester, as it originally was. Thank you for encouraging us to attend this address!
